Owned by Essex Marine Services Limited and based only an hour away from London we are uniquely positioned to be able to provide the complete ashes scattering or burial package, from Burnham-on-Crouch or Wallasea Island near Southend on Sea.
Whether our Masters are to carry out our very popular, unaccompanied service or whether families and friends wish to accompany us on their own memorial voyage our experienced and helpful staff are here to help.
We have an extensive network of professional Skippers around the UK and further afield which allows us to organise scatterings from virtually any port in the UK as well as elsewhere. We are also able to organise other specialist bespoke scatterings or burials.
We understand the needs of our clients from whatever walk of life, custom or religion.
We understand that some scatterings or burial of cremated remains need to be carried out in a river, others must be in the open sea and we will facilitate this for you.
We appreciate that some clients require an almost instant committal, we will do our best, subject to prevailing conditions and existing commitments, to be available for you.
We will do our utmost to ensure that the occasion runs as smoothly as possible, with respect and dignity.
We will always carry out the committal at a position that is unique to you in an area as far away as possible from other vessels or activity in an area free of pollution.

Many people, either for reasons of their faith or from past association with the sea, wish to have their ashes scattered at sea. the scattering or burial of cremated remains at sea has been an attractive alternative to other forms of internment for many generations and for many reasons. We have different vessels to choose from at various sizes, types, locations and prices. We can accommodate small and large groups as well as simple or formal arrangements.
A memorial service at sea for your loved one - a celebration of life on the ocean - is a peaceful and dignified farewell. Let us help plan the perfect service, whether it be a simple or formal event.
We offer regular scatterings from East and West London, Ramsgate, Dover, Brighton, Chichester, Poole, Weymouth, Torbay and Looe through our partners, as well as The Thames and Crouch aboard our own boats.
We can also organise scatterings from virtually any other port.
